FAQs
What's not included in the venue hire packages?
Your catering, including linen, crockery, silverware, and table glassware. These items are included in our Afternoon Tea & 3-Course menus for your Wedding Breakfast. If hiring an external caterer, these items are organised by them.

Do you have the same prices all year round?
Yes, our price stays the same through the year. We're passionate about creating memories and we think that's far more important than chasing seasonal profits.

Is there an additional charge for evening guests?
There is no additional charge for evening guests. Our maximum capacity is 180 for the evening reception.

Should I choose your in-house catering or an external caterer?​
Choosing our in-house catering is often the most cost-efficient, stress-free option. Whilst external caterers can bring unique energy and dining options. We are here to help, if you have a particular caterer in mind. Please note that additional fees apply to events with external caterers to cover cleaning and health & safety compliance checks.

Are there any other costs I should be aware of?
We believe in transparent pricing with no hidden charges. Potential additional payments are below:

Damage deposit: £500 refundable.

Early access: you have up to 2 hours on the morning of your wedding to set up decorations. Additional time will be charged at £150 per hour.

Late finish: Our standard finishing time is midnight, we can extend beyond this time for an additional fee, subject to the Council’s permission.

Registrar fees are to be paid by the couple directly to the Council.

A £300 fee applies to events with an external caterer, or £400 if more than one external caterer is present. This covers additional cleaning costs and mandatory food safety compliance checks. For our full External Caterers Policy, and fees associated, please contact us directly.
