Welcome to The Sessions House. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of tickets for our public events. By accessing our site or purchasing a ticket, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Public Event Bookings

Ticket Finality: All tickets purchased for public events (including workshops, tours, and seasonal gatherings) are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Entry: A valid digital or printed ticket must be presented upon arrival. We reserve the right to refuse entry if a valid booking cannot be verified. Your ticket is tied to the name provided at checkout. We love seeing your faces, so please bring a valid ID along with your booking—we just want to make sure you are you!

Event Changes: While we endeavour to host all events as scheduled, The Sessions House reserves the right to cancel or reschedule an event due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event of a cancellation by us, a full refund or an alternative date will be offered.
2. Wedding & Private Event Bookings

Please note that weddings and private bookings or events are governed by bespoke contracts. The Terms and Conditions on this webpage also apply to such bookings.
3. Conduct and Liability

Guest Behaviour: We expect all visitors to respect the historic nature of our venue. We reserve the right to remove any individual whose conduct is disorderly or poses a risk to the property or other guests.

Personal Property: The Sessions House accepts no responsibility for the loss of or damage to personal belongings brought onto the premises.

Damages: Any damage caused to the fabric of the building or its contents by a guest may be billed to the person responsible for the booking.

Unauthorised use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages or be a criminal offence.
5. Limitation of Liability (Force Majeure)
The Sessions House shall not be held liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under these terms that is caused by events outside our reasonable control (Force Majeure). This includes, but is not limited to:

Please be aware that CCTV is in operation throughout the premises for the purposes of public safety, the prevention and detection of crime, and the protection of our property.

By entering these premises, you acknowledge and consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional, marketing, or documentation purposes.

If you do not wish to be captured in any photos or video footage, you must contact us in advance of your visit so that we can make the necessary arrangements to respect your preference.

Our Pet Policy
We are happy to welcome well-behaved pets to The Sessions House on a pre-agreed basis. To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable visit for all guests, we kindly ask pet owners to follow the guidelines below:
1. Eligibility

All pets must be confirmed with the venue management at the time of booking or at least 6 weeks before arrival. We reserve the right to refuse entry to unconfirmed pets.

Guests may bring up to two well-behaved pets to the premises.

Pets must be house-trained, clean, and well-behaved.
2. General Rules

Pets are allowed in The Courtroom and outside areas of the premises only.

Pets must not be left unattended on the premises at any time.​

Any damage caused by your pet must be reported and may incur an additional charge.
3. Cleanliness & Hygiene

Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pet and disposing of waste properly.

Wet or muddy pets must be dried off and cleaned before entering the building.
4. Pet Behaviour

Pets are not allowed on furniture. Please bring their own food bowls, towels, and any other equipment deemed necessary.

Aggressive behaviour, excessive barking, noise, or disturbance to other guests will not be tolerated. Owners may be asked to remove the pet if they are deemed a disturbance or danger to guests, staff, contractors or other visitors of The Sessions House.
5. Liability & Responsibility

Owners are fully responsible for their pet’s behaviour and any damage or disturbance caused.

Please note that the premises are not recommended for pets to stay on-site for long periods of time; owners should ensure their pet’s needs are met elsewhere if they cannot be supervised within the permitted areas for the entire duration of the event.

We reserve the right to request guests to remove their pet if these rules are not followed.
